MediaFreedom (iPad)

The MediaFreedom iPad app is an example client running against the MediaFreedom VOD service. Able to stream live video as well as Video On Demand services.

The iPad version presents a unique navigation style utilising a tiered panel approach. When users are at the top level, a list of programmes is displayed, containing a thumbnail image and a title and description. Once a programme is chosen, the detail page appears and covers up the listing exposing just the thumbnails forming a sub-navigational strip to jump between content without returning back to the previous view.
