GeoNetwork

GeoNetwork is a community and social discovery tool which helps you discover the things around you, share your local knowledge with others and benefit from knowledge and experience shared with you.

GeoNetwork provides a map of your local surroundings and overlays the things around you. These items are colour-coded to make it easy to find the good stuff and skip past the not-so-good. Find your friends and see where they are in real-time, providing they let you of course!

You can add you own items to the map, businesses, photos, comments and local information all for other people to share and contribute on. Add anything you want to your community list and be notified when they change or when you are within a certain distance of them.

GeoNetwork provides a powerful filtering system to quickly strip away the things you don’t want to see and be left with the things you do and a Time Step mode to enable you to go forwards or backwards in time and see the items as of that date.
